The Viola outfit is based on dresses worn by the character Viola in the movie Shakespeare in Love. The Velvet version has a velvet bodice with an exaggerated stomacher decorated with trim in an inverted chevron design. The short sleeves are velvet with a brocade trim cuff. The full skirt is velvet with a 3/4" brocade trim sewn down each side of the front and the entire hem. The underskirt is a silk brocade. The bodice laces in back.
