The Basic Suede bodice is a simple but attractive start to any peasant costume.
Lined with black cotton, this bodice is available with or without picadilles ("flaps" sewn into the waist, creating a scalloped edge).
Available in Black, Green, Tobacco, and Brown Suede.
To pair with this bodice, consider adding a chemise and skirt:
Generously sized (one size) cotton chemise with grosgrain ribbon casing. It has a drawstring top and elastic cuffs. The ribbon is available in a variety of colors to match or contrast the color of fabric you choose. (please see our colors page for the ribbon colors we have available)
Basic gored peasant skirt available in a black, navy and burgundy gauze.
They can be ordered in other colors of cotton broadcloth, please contact us for availability before ordering.
