The Shakespeare doublet combines the body of a fabric Marlowe and the sleeves of a Hamlet doublet. The cordedge used in the body is larger and can be of a coordinating color or black and the picadilles, epaulets and color are a leather or suede that match the sleeves. The fabric in the sleeves is a solid, stripe or geometric brocade that matches the overall color of the chenille used in the body. The front of the doublet buttons all the way up.
